A sensitive and distinctive expansion plan brings new vitality to the Peoria Civic Center, originally designed by esteemed architect Philip Johnson. The second major expansion to the building since its opening in 1982 adds valued space and amenities while honoring the original design intent.
HOK Venue's design incorporates street level retail and an impressive new Grand Hall entry to increase the center's role in the urban community. We have increased the facility's flexibility and efficiency by adding new meeting and ballroom space, administrative offices and additional loading and servicing options.
